Admission Terms and Conditions
Refund Policy
- Submission Deadline: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to summerprogram@sccca.org at least 30 days prior to the official start date of the registered session
- Administrative Fee: All approved refunds are subject to a $55.00 non-refundable administrative fee, which will be deducted from the total tuition paid.
- Late Requests: If a refund request is submitted less than 30 days before the session start date, strictly no refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for any reason (including illness, travel, or change of personal schedule).
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued directly to the original payment method used at the time of registration (e.g., credited back to the original credit card account).
- Processing Time: Once a refund is approved, please allow 3 to 5 business days for the transaction.
- Absences: No refunds, credits, or makeup classes will be provided for student absences due to personal reasons (e.g., sickness, family vacations, etc.).
Class Change
- Standard Requests: Requests to change sessions or class levels must be submitted in writing at least one week prior to the session start date. All changes are subject to class availability and a $25.00 administrative fee.
- Academic Waiver: The $25.00 administrative fee will be waived if the class change is initiated or recommended by the instructor based on a professional assessment of the student’s language proficiency.
- Drop off and pick up:
- Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM daily.
- Sign-In/Out: Students must be signed in and out by an authorized adult (18+) with a full signature. Photo ID may be requested.
- Late Pick-up: A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged starting at 5:00 PM. SCCCA reserves the right to withdraw a student after three late pick-up occurrences.
- Grounds for Termination: SCCCA reserves the right to terminate services without a refund if:
- A student’s behavior poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
- A student requires one-to-one care that exceeds our group care structure.
- A student or parent exhibits disrespectful, abusive, or uncivil behavior toward staff or other families.
- A student is repeatedly disruptive or fails to follow safety instructions after a two-day observation period and parent consultation.
- Prohibited Items & Rules:
- Electronics: Cell phones and gaming devices are prohibited. If brought, they must be turned in to staff. SCCCA is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Gum/Candy: Not allowed on premises. Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action.
- Food Sharing: Prohibited due to allergy safety. Please provide a nut-free lunch and snacks.
- Emergency Care: In the event of a medical emergency, SCCCA will call 911. Parents are responsible for all medical and transportation expenses incurred.
- Liability: SCCCA/ICS is not responsible for students who are left on premises without being properly signed in.
- Dress Code: Closed-toed athletic shoes are mandatory (no sandals or Heelys). Clothing must be appropriate for a school environment and free of offensive language or imagery.
- Gym Rules: Rubber-soled sports shoes are required for all gymnasium activities.
- Property Damage: Parents are financially responsible for any damage to school property caused by their child.
